Cywrite Fee Structure
Your wondering "how can I afford
all this?" Perhaps starting with a simple site and adding advanced
features later is a good plan.
The simplest Internet presence is an
electronic
business card
or "splash page". It is a single page, suitable for placing
in a directory, or as a stand-alone. It gives the reader information
about your company, hours of operation, contact persons and a summary
of the products or services. It should be cited on all your promotional
materials, stationary and cards. It should have the same look as your
stationary and promotiona materials.
For $250 - An electronic business
card (single splash page, no frames) may contain one page unlimited
text, hyperlinks to other sites, email button, custom rules, ornaments,
background and text layout, metatg keywords, site description and
submission to search engines included.

- copywriting / proofing / editing
- $50/hr.
- logo development or redrawing logos
from your stationary - $50/hr
- GIF or Flash animations, mouse

Need to present more content? A portfolio
site would contain the home
page, perhaps a resume for the principal, detailed product information,
news and views of your organization, meeting times, calendars, etc.
This allows the user more freedom to pick the desired information
and presents a more organized look.
Use the $250 electronic business card as the home page or go to a 2 or 3 framed page
for $350. Six rollover buttons and unlimited internal hyperlinks
are included; extra buttons $5 each. Mouse driven displays of text
or pictures with rollover buttons are a free option. ( notice how
text appears when you selected a button on the front page? - it
helps the user know what is in a given page before going there.).
Additional pages are $50 using exisiting artwork.
Personnel directories with email links, site maps and large link
libraries may accrue an additional hourly charge - please inquire.
Third party search engines and promotion devices included.
Promotion to directories and other websites is a
powerful way to bring traffic to your site. Include an hour or two
of this type of work into your monthly budget for maintenance.
Suggested add-ons in addition to those
listed above:
interactive forms to solicit information
from users, third-party e-commerce services, search engines, polls
reporting devices, date display and other Javascripts or applets
- $40/hr plus image services as applicable.
Terms and conditions
An initial consultation and estimate
is included. The initial fee is due when the homepage and content
page layout is finalized. One rework of design/layout/color choice
is included for pages and elements. Changes/additions to design/layout
thereafter are as above. Fees for large sites can be spread over three
months.
A substantial discount is available
for non-profit institutions.
Upgrades, site maintenances, research
and promotion services are provided on the following fee structure:
- $50 per page for all new pages using
existing artwork.
- $50 per hour for content research,
content changes in existing pages, copy writing/editing, file management,
development of new artwork.
- $10 per photograph for scanning,
adjustments and compression. Reconstruction, scratch removal, etc
accruse at the hourly rate.
Hourly fees are calculated at fifteen
minute intervals. You use only those services that you need; no
monthly fees!
Your site is developed in Cywrite workspace
and then transfered to your ISP upon completion and payement.
